You have the right to ask Hollywood Clinic to delete the personal information we hold about you. This page explains exactly how to do that, what will be deleted, what we are legally required to keep, and how long it takes.

How to request deletion

There is no account to log into. Send us a request using either method below and we will handle the rest.

1. Send your request

   Email [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request", or send us a WhatsApp message on +20 100 000 7176.

   Include the following so we can find your records:

   Subject: Data Deletion Request
   
   Full name:
   Phone number used to contact the clinic:
   Email address (if you used one):
   Facebook / Instagram profile name (if you messaged us there):
   What you want deleted: all my data / only my review / only my marketing consent

2. We verify it is you

   We will contact you on the phone number or email address in your request to confirm your identity. This protects you — it stops someone else from deleting your records or finding out whether you are a patient.

   If we cannot verify your identity, we will tell you why rather than acting on the request.

3. We delete your data

   We remove your information from our systems and instruct our service providers to do the same. We will confirm in writing once it is done.

   Completed within 30 days of verifying your identity. Most requests are finished much sooner.

What gets deleted

What we may have to keep

We will tell you clearly if any of the following applies to your request:

• Medical and clinical records. If you have been treated at the clinic, Egyptian law and professional regulations require healthcare providers to retain patient records for a set period. We cannot delete these before that period ends. We will lock them so they are no longer used for contact or marketing, and delete them as soon as we are permitted to.
• Financial and tax records. Invoices and payment records must be kept for the period required by Egyptian tax law.
• Records needed for a legal claim. If there is an active or anticipated legal matter, we may retain the relevant records until it is resolved.

Anything outside these categories is deleted in full.

Data held by third parties

Some information sits with platforms we do not control. We will delete our copy, but you may also want to act directly:

• Facebook and Instagram — remove Hollywood Clinic's access in Settings › Apps and Websites on your Meta account. Messages in your own inbox stay under your control and can be deleted by you.
• WhatsApp — messages are stored on your device and ours. Deleting a chat on your phone removes your copy; we delete ours on request.
• Website analytics — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity data is not linked to your name. It expires automatically (up to 14 months for Google Analytics, 30 days for Clarity session recordings). You can stop future collection by clearing cookies or using the opt-outs listed in our Cookie Policy.

Related requests

You do not have to delete everything. You can instead ask us to:

• Send you a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct anything inaccurate or out of date
• Stop marketing messages while keeping your clinical record intact
• Withdraw permission to use your before-and-after photographs

If you are not satisfied

If we refuse your request or you are unhappy with our response, tell us and we will review it. You also have the right to complain to the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Centre under Law No. 151 of 2020.
